Natural Expression: How long have you been natural?
Natural Glam Diva: 4yrs

Natural Expression: What made you decide to go natural? Why?
Natural Glam Diva: My daughter started asking for a perm, I didn't want her hair to go through what mines did, & I wanted her to know God didn't make mistake on our hair. I had to lead by example

Natural Expression: How did you go natural? BC..transition..locs
Natural Glam Diva: I transitioned with kinky twist, quick weaves, straw curls & twist outs

Natural Expression: What is your Hair Type?
Natural Glam Diva: I think it's 3c / 4a

Natural Expression: What are your thoughts about Natural Hair?
Natural Glam Diva: I love natural hair. I love how its so versatile.

Natural Expression: Did going natural change you in any way?

Natural Glam Diva: It changed my inner confidence. I never know that something as simple as not getting a relaxer would help me discover who I was.
I guess just being able to look in the mirror with "nappy" hair & all & still feel beautiful "freed" me..

Natural Expression: What would you tell someone who's considering natural hair? And why they should?

Natural Glam Diva: I would tell them mentally its a challenge, but once you get over the initial "my hair is nappy" shock you will discover the beauty in it. I would tell them they should go natural bc if God attended for us to have straight hair he would have gave it to us.

Natural Expression: What products are you currently using?

Natural Glam Diva: Creme of nature argan oil sulfate free shampoo/conditioner. I like homemade products like EVOO, Rosemary oil, etc

Natural Expression: What's your hair regimen now & your favorite hair style?

Natural Glam Diva: Wash & deep condition once a week, moisturize & oil my scalp every other day

Natural Expression: What are some of the challenges you’ve had with your natural hair? Have you ever regretted going natural?

Natural Glam Diva: A challenge I've faced is being consistent with my hair care routine. Nope never regretted it! How can I regret not having a chemical burn in 4yrs?? lol

Natural Expression: What have you learned about your hair? What mistakes have you made?
Natural Glam Diva: I've learned that puffs & wash&go's are so easy to do, but detangling them leads to breakage. Protective styles are influential for hair growth...I've made the mistake of not combing my hair out, brushing it while its wet into a puff making my edges thin!

Where can you be found (e.g., Blog, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)?
